Hotels: how to search and book?

Step 1: Hotel Search

1. Go to the Hotels tab on the main page.

2. Enter the hotel name or location:

It can be a city, region, airport, or any specific location. You can also use the "Find on the map" function to locate hotels within a radius of 0.5 to 10 km from the desired point (for example, hotels near the Eiffel Tower). If you cannot find a specific hotel, please contact customer support.

3. Select check-in and check-out dates:

You can book accommodations from today for a period of 1 to 30 nights.

4. Specify the number of rooms and guests per room, as well as their nationality:

You can book up to 6 rooms at once. When booking multiple rooms, you’ll need to specify the number of adults and children, including their ages, for each room. This will provide a total cost for all rooms. If guests have different nationalities, enter the nationality of the guest present at check-in.

5. Choose the hotel category and meal type:

Enter desired parameters for a more accurate search.

6. Add a coupon code:

You can check available coupons in Menu > Finance > Coupons.

7. Use collections:

If you have a collection of hotels (e.g., hotels with sandy beach access in Sharm El Sheikh), select it for the search or create a new one. This will display only hotels from the chosen collection in the search results.

8. Click the Search button:

After pressing the button, the system will show available options for the selected dates.


Step 2: Working with Search Results

1. Review the results:

The search results are displayed as a list or on a map. A layout with both the list and map on one page is also available. Click "All rooms and rates" to see all available offers. You can return to the initial view by clicking "Hide." Pay attention to the "Free cancellation" and "Non-refundable rate" options.

2. Use filters:

Refine your selection with filters on the left column, including hotel name, price, star rating, meal type, customer ratings, supplier discounts, amenities like pools or parking, room features, specific accommodation types (e.g., family or adult-only hotels or pet-friendly), district, hotel chains, accommodation type (apartments, villas, hostels, etc.), and booking type (offers with refundable rates).

3. Share the hotel list on social media or send a link:

You can publish the hotel list on your Facebook page in one click or send a link to it.

4. Add a hotel to a selection:

Click the suitcase icon next to the room price to save it to a selection, which can be sent to a customer later for viewing or self-booking on your Unit-client site.

5. Select a hotel and go to its page:

On the hotel page, you’ll find:

  • A detailed description,
  • A link to send to the client or post on social media,
  • An option to send hotel information as text or an image,
  • All price options,
  • A price and availability calendar,
  • Supplier ratings,
  • Price comparison with a booking site,
  • Customer and travel agent reviews.

6. Review the "Important iformation about accommodation":

This section lists additional fees, taxes, check-in/out times, and hotel contact details.

7. Select a price option:

Once you've made a choice, click the "Book now" button.


Step 3: Booking the Hotel

1. On the Booking page:

  • Review cancellation policies.
  • Enter guest information. You can enter the details of only one guest who will be present at check-in, specifying name, surname, and nationality without passport details. If the guests have different nationalities, enter the details for all.
  • Add insurance or transfers to or from the hotel if needed.
  • Select payment terms and commission. You need to choose the payment method: by agent or by client.
  • Adjust the commission (increase or decrease) or apply a coupon if necessary.
  • Specify additional requests. You can add a note for the supplier by selecting from the list (e.g., sea view, twin beds) or enter requests in English.
  • Enter the guest’s email and phone number.
  • Contact support if needed by clicking the chat icon in the lower right corner.
  • Press "Next: Check final details."

2. Check the details entered:

On the data review page, check the information provided. If needed, click "Edit Data" to return to the previous page. Carefully review the booking terms, check the box indicating you agree to the terms, and then click "Book now."

3. Complete the booking:

A booking confirmation will be sent to the email provided. The booking will be assigned a number, which can be found in Menu > Work with clients > Bookings.

4. Verify the blue check mark:

A blue check mark on the booking indicates that Unit Travel support has verified the booking. We contact the hotel to confirm all requests, room type, and meal plan, recording the date and time of verification.

5. Pay for the booking and get the voucher:

The created booking must be paid:

  • Within two hours if it is a "Non-refundable rate,"
  • By the specified deadline if it is a "Cancel without penalty" rate.

If you do not pay for the booking within the specified time, it will be automatically canceled without any penalties.

After completing the full payment, you can find, download, and print the voucher on the relevant booking page in Menu > Work with clients > Bookings.
